At Colibrí Therapy and Training, we operate on a fee-for-service basis. This means we are not affiliated with any insurance networks. Clients may choose to pay out of pocket or use their out-of-network insurance benefits for therapy sessions.
For those interested in utilizing out-of-network benefits, we advise you to contact your insurance provider before your first appointment to inquire about coverage for outpatient online psychotherapy. Reimbursement rates can vary depending on your specific insurance plan. While CTT does not handle insurance claims directly, we provide a detailed receipt (commonly known as a ‘superbill’) that you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement.

Every client has the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate detailing the costs of items and services that are reasonably expected for your health care needs for an item or service. The estimate is based on the information known at the time the estimate was created and does not include any unknown or unexpected costs that may arise during treatment. You could be charged more if complications or special circumstances occur. If this happens, federal law allows you to dispute (appeal) the bill.
A Good Faith Estimate is not a contract between you and Colibrí Therapy and Training, it is simply an estimate of reasonably expected costs for therapeutic services. You have the right to terminate therapeutic services at any time.
To learn more about disputes and get a form to start the process, go to www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 1-800-985-3059.
