Couples Therapy for Expecting and New Parents

Navigating the Transition to Parenthood and Building Stronger Relationships

Becoming a parent is a significant life change that can bring new challenges and stressors to a relationship. New and expecting parents may have different expectations of what parenthood should look like. The demands of parenthood, combined with the physical and emotional changes of pregnancy and postpartum, can be stressful for new and expecting parents. Couples can be left feeling disconnected and out of sync, leaving partners frustrated and lonely.

Couples therapy can help new and expecting parents navigate these changes, manage expectations, and find ways to support each other. Therapy can also help couples work through the unique challenges and stressors that come with expecting and welcoming a new member to their family. At CTT, we offer pre-birth counseling, postpartum support, infertility and adoption, and relationship strengthening. Therapeutic services will be tailored to meet the unique needs and goals of each couple.
